Brygga Restaurant

The “Brygga” restaurant is housed in a former quayside warehouse and fish landing station

It is hard to imagine that this enormous building that stands on stilts in the sea, has been relocated twice.  It was originally built at Hell in 1938 where it was used as a shop, fish landing station and cod-liver oil factory during the winter cod fishing season, but was moved to Å in 1954.From being a storeroom and fish landing station, it was completely renovated in 1992 and rebuilt into a restaurant and conference centre with a number of guest rooms.
