The Barn

In the barn, which was built at some time before 1886, a number of tools and artefactshave been collected and put on display.

In addition to room for cattle, sheep and pigs, there is also a stable for the horses. Horses were essential to the process of hanging up the fish on the fish racks. There were no roads in the old days, so strong horses were needed to force their way  through the deep snow with their loads of fresh fish.
