The derelict settlement of Hell is situated on the outer side of the island of Moskenesøya, overlooking the infamous Maelstrom (Moskstraumen) as described by Edgar Alan Poe, Jules Verne, etc. Hell is a fantastic place on warm summer days, with its wonderful white, sandy beach and view of the Midnight Sun.
