9 April: Easter celebrations in Moskenes
Kayaking, snorkelling, boat trips, entertainment, church services, music, Easter menus, etc.

14-22 April: Exibition: Grethe Pryta Kittelsen – ceramics. Reine kultursenter

27-28 April: Elijazzen festival – Lofoten Jazz Festival
The only jazz festival in Lofoten is being arranged for the fourth time at Eliassen Rorbuer, Hamnøy. The Jazz Festival is a tribute to the wild and wonderful Lofoten countryside, to the culture and the commitment, energy and spontaneous creativity we all get from simply being here. 17 May: National Day celebrations in Reine and Sørvågen. Procession starts from Reine.

21-27 May – Activity week.
Lots of exciting activities for children and adults: mountain walks, kayaking, snorkelling, cycling, climbing, rafting, yoga, bathing in the sea and rounding off with the first midnight sun trip of 2012 to Bunes.

31 May-3 June: ”REINE ORD” Literature Festival, Reine. (Norwegian language only) www.reineord.no

9 June: The Culture School’s Summer concert, at the cinema in Sørvågen.

23 June: Midsummer Eve Celebrations – bonfire and barbecue in Reine.

Admission free (collection). All concerts start at 21:00.
2 July: Alpenhorn and choir. Reine church.
28 July: Jew’s Harp. Reine church.
30 July: OLSOKvesper - St. Olavs Vesper. Moskenes church.

9-14 July: Lofoten International Chamber Music Festival

Christmas preparations at the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum, in the traditional fishing village of Å. Bakery, cod-liver factory, story-telling, Christmas market, and lots more.
