Saturday 11 June:

Family Activities and Entertainment in Å.

Family activities in Å from 11am to 3 pm. Activity day celebrating the old ”Fish-fetching Day”. Market, guided tours, exhibitions, talks, activities, entertainment, open bakery. This year we combine events with the “Lofotmarsjen - Organised Walk” from Hamnøy or Ramberg, ending up in Å. We hope lots of people will turn up..

Saturday 4 December:

“Christmas in the Old Days,” Å, Saturday 4 December, 11.00-15.00

A wide range of activities for children of all ages:
Learn to make Christmas trees out of juniper branches. Christmas carols and music. Santa in the barn. Horse and sleigh rides. Story time. A taste of old-fashioned Christmas fare. Competitions: count the elves, treasure hunt, and more. Christmas market with home crafts and lots more. Sale of doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, squash and coffee in the bakery. Raffle with 200 prizes. Christmas presents like books about Lofoten and lots more on sale at the museum shop. Exhibitions in the boathouse.

NB: There is no ATM/cash machine in Å, so please make sure you bring enough cash with you.

Saturday 12 June:
Moskenes Ragno Festival
Activity Day for the whole family in Å, 11 am to 3 pm. A number of activities and attractions will be arranged in the old village square in Å, in conjunction with Moskenes Ragno Festival. These include a market, a brass band, guided tours, an auction, talks, samples of stockfish products, and lots more. NOK 50 for adults, children free.

  Tema: Kulturminnedag med gudstjeneste, foredrag (husets historie) og konsert

  Fiskeværsmuseet Kl. 18.00
  Tema: Barna i gamle dager – Skole, arbeid og (litt) fritid.
   
• 4. November:
  Servicehuset/parkeringsplass. Kl 18.00
  Tema:Gamle lokale ord og uttrykk.
