Bunes

Bunes is situated on the outer coast of the Lofoten Islands, overlooking the Arctic Ocean (Norwegian Sea). There are magnificent white, sandy beaches on both sides of the ridge. Bunesfjord is accessible from Reine. Take the fjord ferry to Vinstad and walk along the quaint old dirt track until you get to the hamlet of Bunesfjord from where you can either cross the ridge to the far side of the island, or simply remain there on the beach.
